1. Legal Information and No Attorney-Client Relationship
No Attorney-Client Relationship. Viewing or using this Site, submitting a contact form, sending an email, or otherwise communicating with the Firm through this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when: (a) the Firm has expressly agreed in writing to represent you; (b) a written fee agreement or engagement letter has been signed by both you and the Firm; and (c) any required conflict checks have been completed. Until an attorney-client relationship is established, any information you provide to us is not confidential or privileged.
Prospective Clients. If you are seeking legal representation, do not send confidential or sensitive information through this Site until you have spoken with an attorney at the Firm and confirmed that we have agreed to represent you.
Client Engagement Agreements. If you become a client of the Firm, the terms of our attorney-client relationship will be governed by a separate written engagement agreement and applicable rules of professional conduct. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and an engagement agreement, the engagement agreement and professional ethics rules will control with respect to legal services provided to you.

3. Attorney Licensing and Jurisdictional Limitations
Multi-Jurisdictional Practice. The Firm is headquartered in Houston, Texas. You acknowledge and agree that the attorneys of Lanier Meyer McBride Blair, LLP may not be licensed in all U.S. states or jurisdictions, including the state where you reside or the state(s) where your legal claim must be brought.
Co-Counsel and Referral Arrangements. In matters requiring attorneys licensed in jurisdictions where the Firm's attorneys are not admitted, the Firm may associate with, partner with, or refer your matter to attorneys who are licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction(s). Any such arrangement will be disclosed to you and will require your consent. The Firm may share fees with co-counsel or referring attorneys in accordance with applicable rules of professional conduct.
No Solicitation Outside Licensed Jurisdictions. The Firm does not intend to solicit clients in jurisdictions where its attorneys are not licensed to practice law, except to the extent permitted by applicable rules of professional conduct, including rules permitting attorneys to associate with local counsel.
4. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Consent
By providing your telephone number (including mobile/cellular number) through this Site, a contact form, email, or any other communication with the Firm, you expressly consent to the following:
(a) Consent to Contact. You consent to receive telephone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), voicemails, and other communications from Lanier Meyer McBride Blair, LLP, its attorneys, employees, agents, affiliates, and service providers at the telephone number(s) you provide, regarding your potential or actual legal matter, case status, appointments, and related information.

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect communications necessary for your legal representation if you become a client.
(f) Consent on Behalf of Others. By providing a telephone number that is not your own, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the prior express consent of the telephone number's owner to receive calls and text messages from the Firm.
(g) TCPA Acknowledgment. You acknowledge that this consent constitutes your prior express written consent for purposes of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227), as amended, and all applicable federal and state telemarketing laws and regulations, for and in favor of Lanier Meyer McBride Blair, LLP.
5. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not cause harm to the Firm, its reputation, or other users. You agree not to:

(b) Governing Law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
(c) Jurisdiction and Venue. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
(d) Waiver of Jury Trial. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND THE FIRM EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY ACTION OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE.
